Gunner Loughty, a prominent figure in the independent film industry, is the current director of Last Mom on Earth Films. He has been associated with the company since its inception in 2012 and has helped it grow into one of the most successful independent film production companies in the world.
Born and raised in rural Idaho, Gunner first found his love for the film after seeing a cascade of classic movies at a local drive-in theater as a teen. After graduating high school he attended university to study filmmaking and quickly rose up the ranks as he worked on various projects across multiple genres. In 2012, he founded Last Mom on Earth Films with the mission of making quality films that speak to audiences without compromising artistic integrity. Under his leadership, Last Mom on Earth Films has produced numerous award-winning films and garnered both critical acclaim and commercial success.
Gunner’s passion for filmmaking is evident in all his work – from tender dramas like “The Reel Life” to sci-fi thrillers like “The Black Hole”. His visual style often utilizes naturalistic elements while still allowing him to express his unique vision through inventive camera angles and lighting techniques. His works also often explore themes like relationships between people or ideas about society.
